Monster Hunter down? Current status, problems and outages (2025)

@monsterhunter I'm not sure if its a bug, or just a network issue. But in an online rampage quest, the 2nd horde wasn't starting. We've been waiting for like 5 mins already. Then 2 players left and the horde started.

@Ultra34620729 @monsterhunter If this game was broken or wasn't fun at all, I'd be pissed as well. But what is in the game is a ton of fun and I guess this way gives me more of a reason to come back to it. Would I want a full story and more monsters at launch? Yessir. But I'm not too bothered with this

@monsterhunter Please fix gyro aiming in handheld mode on x axis or at least add an option, having to steer with the console is counterintuitive. Also an option to skip the "kill cutscene" with + rather than B, thanks 🙏 Looking forward to the next update!

@TheRedPrairie @ScourgeHH @monsterhunter Hey, if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. I like how they’ve been doing transmog and layered armor so far. Nothing wrong with that. Different opinions exist and that doesn’t mean it’s white knighting or anything like that. You should remember that.

@monsterhunter New HH is so damn good. Basically every issue I had that prevented me from wanting to main it before is just gone.

@monsterhunter i kept getting “the software is closed because of an error” during Narwa quest. I get 4 crashes out of 6 time. Always during the middle of the quest too. That quest seem to be the only time i get this error.

@tangytablet @monsterhunter Long shelling types beat the other 2 by far (and can even get better at full burst than normal), hbg is just outclassed by lbg in everything but meme cluster builds, then you have IG that just got trash for new abilities, the fact element and status are gimped, so many issues

@Serbaayuu @doodoodadi2 @monsterhunter So what's the problem with making something more accessible by removing tedium from the system? Buffs don't last as long, and don't double scale, it isn't just about being a hammer that buffs, you need to constantly be rotating your combo to keep your team buffs up.

@monsterhunter Please bring back layered armor & weapons soon then super later. That was my biggest issue I had with World we didn’t get layered armor and layered weapon till Iceborne and didn’t get Master Rank till end of Iceborne life cycle when hardly anybody still played.

Anyone else having problems with their Palamute waking up sleeping monsters in Rise? Palicos don't seem to be doing it at all, even when they are repeatedly hitting a monster with a multi-hit attack.#MonsterHunterRise @monsterhunter

Has anyone else noticed that poison in Rampage doesn't always count as a status ailment being inflicted for the optional objectives? I also noticed an issue with the dragonator not always counting for its objective as well #MHRise @monsterhunter

I can’t go online at all on monster hunter rise! I join a lobby. Gets kicked out after 5 seconds. Join a online quest, kick out on loading screen. I’ve updated it, internet connection is fine. Happened since update. Please fix this! @monsterhunter #MonsterHunterRise

@doodoodadi2 @monsterhunter Does the performance switch skill add a hit/miss note system? And it's not much of a fix if all the songs are still just 2 monocolor notes lol.

@monsterhunter My brother and friends found an odd thing with Diablos's roar getting cut off halfway. As if it starts screeching then the audio file breaks. Every Diablos hunt now we listen to the roat and it definitely sounds cut/broken. Also some armors have spelling errors and the basarios
