PLE (post licensing education) and CE (continuing education) are something most agents do online through any given website based platform. But in some states, you can attend courses through any number of places.A few examples could be events agents/brokers are hosting, title/attorney offices, your local associations, mortgage lenders, and insurance offices. These events may seem like they are a waste of time because you have to drive somewhere to get them done. But it is a fantastic agent networking opportunity.Networking with other professionals in your area is just as important as farming leads. It gives you a chance to meet experienced professionals who can offer insight into contract writing, lead management, and other important aspects of the real estate industry. Also, make sure what they are marketing, a CE or PLE credited event, is true. If you sign up feel free to ask if it is verified and factual if you'd like to, most people should not have a hard time giving you any credentials you ask for. You can find some of these events in local social media groups, applications like Eventbrite, checking your local association's calendar/event list, and through your brokerage. Real estate is based on relationships, and that goes for professional relationships just as much as your clients. Let us know what you find that you found enlightening and if you enjoy going to in person events for education. Mainly because we are nosey 😂 #RealEstateExcellence#TransactionCoordinator #EfficientRealEstate#RealEstateSuccess #StreamlineTransactions #PropertyPros #RealEstateInnovation #RealEstateManagement #RealEstateTips #RealEstateGrowth

Consider these five tips if you are a new realtor when you start looking for a brokerage or company to work for:1. Consider the Brokerage's Culture and Values:- Assess the culture and values of the brokerage to ensure they align with your own professional goals and work style. Look for a company where you feel comfortable and supported, as this can significantly impact your job satisfaction and success as a realtor.2. Understand the Commission Structure and Fees:- When considering a brokerage, carefully review its commission structure and fee arrangements. Some brokerages offer higher commission splits but charge additional fees, while others may provide more comprehensive support in exchange for a lower split. Understand how these factors will impact your income and weigh them against the support and resources offered.3. Evaluate Training and Mentorship Programs:- As a new realtor, it's crucial to join a brokerage that provides robust training and mentorship programs. Look for a company that offers ongoing education, coaching, and support to help you develop your skills and navigate the complexities of the real estate industry.4. Assess Marketing and Technology Support:- In today's digital age, it's essential to work with a brokerage that provides strong marketing and technology support. Evaluate the brokerage's marketing tools, technology platforms, and online presence to ensure they will help you effectively market properties and connect with clients.5. JOIN PEACE REALTYPeace Realty is a boutique brokerage that offers true one on one mentorship. We provide top rated business coaching as well as full marketing services to all our new agents. Have been having various conversations recently with new agents who have been looking to join my brokerage and get into the business. When I speak to these agents, I try to give them the realities of the business opposed to when I started. Many brokerages try to sway you with the promise of leads, innovative marketing assistance, new technology, and so on in order to justify taking a large percentage of your commission and signing you into their company. This did not sit well with me.This is what I would tell myself before my first interview.1. Do not expect for a brokerage to provide you leads. If they do, it is rare and you cannot rely on their business. Create Your Own. 2. Everything is negotiable. Real Estate brokerages are normally lucky to have you, unless you are a complete liability. You do not have to accept their first offer because they say it is standard.3. Find a true mentor. Do some research on who you will be working with. The top agent/ best company is not always the answer if they are not giving you opportunities to learn. For those considering joining the real estate industry and may have any questions, send me a message. Would love to help you get started and hope you pass it along someday as well.

If you are a commercial real estate broker and don't like making calls, I suggest you download the picture below, print it out and each time you find yourself needing motivation to make some sales calls fill in a box.Emails don't count, text messages don't count, DM's don't count. You are cheating yourself and your customers if you are not making sales calls. Prove me wrong! Abundant Broker training helps you with scripts, forms and coaching on making sales calls. That's one reason our students rave about our platform and are growing their commissions 5X-10X.
